Leaders in Movement Related Data (MRD)

Our mission is “To provide data that will help coaches win.”

About

Sports Performance

VERT’s platform is utilized by over 500 collegiate, national and professional clubs in volleyball alone. Other sports, such as basketball, tennis, soccer and more have utilized VERT technology to gain critical insights into player “mechanical load” to help optimize training and help to mitigate injury risk.

The VERT Team System (VTS) family of performance platforms have changed the way coaches plan practices, providing a powerful guide to ensure each athlete is being trained in his/her optimal training zones.

Insights such as workload, jump count, landing impact, intensity, stress and more allow coaches and their support staff to make better decisions that lead to results on the court, field, or wherever the athlete performs.

Countries we’re in

150+

We are helping coaches and athletes around the world, at all levels, train smarter and learn more about their movement without being constrained to a lab.

JUMPS

VERT is the first clinically validated measure of vertical displacement (jump height) and jump count from an IMU (inertial measurement unit) in the world! We have collected millions of jumps at every level to help coaches and athletes learn more than ever before in their specific sports.

Impacts

VERT is the first IMU that allows coaches and athletes to track, in real-time, landing impact. While the VERT sensors record the impact of every dynamic movement made, our focus has been on the impact of landing, allowing coaches to flag higher injury risk athletes after a single practice in volleyball or basketball.

MRD: Movement Related Data

VERT’s platform allows coaches, trainers and athletes to monitor workload (Energy), movement economy, efficiency, mechanical stress, reactive strength, ground contact time, acute to chronic workload ratios and more. Our platform and data offerings are ever-changing as we introduce arm swing metrics, asymmetry, camera-less motion capture, all presented in a manner that’s easy to apply. After all, data is only as useful as it is usable. ever before in their specific sports.
