Founder Martin Matak, a little league basketball coach, developed VERT so the kids could track their jump height. He also had another benefit in mind: preventing the risk of injury from over-jumping. Before VERT, the only way to track height and number of jumps was to have someone do it manually. That wasn’t practical, and VERT now makes that data available fast and affordably.
